There may be various situations when you will have a need to block your Instagram account: you are bored with using it, but you want to make sure that the information about you will not get into the hands of anyone, for example. What you should do in such a case? Is it possible to do so without being bothered by a thousand of new issues? Indeed, the answer is “yes”, since Instagram has done its best to make an easy, user-friendly interface and system. Follow the recommendations below, and you will block your Instagram account in a matter of minutes.
In the setting’s section of editing profile, you are able to deactivate your account for a certain period of time
Step 1. Open the browser of yours and follow to the website of Instagram.
Step 2. Sign in to the social network with the help of your username and password.
Step 3. You will get to see the home page of Instagram. Click on the button of your profile, located in the upper-right corner (the last one).
Step 4. On the page of your account, click on the “Edit Profile” button.
Here you can specify the reason of disabling your account; find the appropriate reason and select it
Step 5. You will see the page of setting the details about your profile. Scroll down until the very bottom. There, you will see the following text written in a blue color: “Temporarily disable my account.” You will find it to the right side from the “Submit” button. Click on that “Temporarily disable my account.”
Step 6. On the new page, you will see the description of what the deactivation of your account means. Then, you will be able to choose what is the reason for your decision to deactivate your Instagram account. Once you have chosen certain option, you may see that Instagram is trying to offer a solution for that issue (have a look at the second screenshot). Click on the “OK” button if you are sure about the deactivation of your Instagram account
Step 7. Check whether you have filled in all the lines incorrectly. If it is so and you are ready to block your account, click on the red “Temporarily Disable Account” button.
Step 8. Following it, you will see a window of the browser that will ask whether you are sure about the deactivation. Click on the “OK” button.
When you got to see such message, it means that your Instagram account has ultimately been deactivated
Step 9. After this, the procedure of your account deactivation is finished, and you will see a respective message on the Instagram page. At the same time, there you will be also able to see that you need just to sign in, if you want to enable your Instagram account again.
